Tokyo Saudade_A Walk Through Aoyama

My grandma, who traveled all across the world once made me promise her to visit Tokyo: " When there, don't dare to sleep, you will not be able to in any case."  During  several days there, we almost didn't sleep, and I wish we wouldn't at all!
Here is a quick walk through Aoyama, one of the prominent fashion districts of Tokyo. And there is so much more...

Omote Sando Hills by Tadao Ando: this shopping center was highly criticized for being designed and built instead of the demolished Bauhaus building, reflecting on Japanese culture as reluctant to preserve history and tradition. While this might be a relevant comment, Tadao's job is phenomenal. He simply did the best he could in the given situation, with the given program in hands. It could be much worse if he would refused...
